**Work must be performed in the contiguous US with a possible hybrid component involving scheduled on-site visits.**
**Per federal government contract, U.S. citizenship is required.**
Responsibilities
The Boomi developer requires the ability to design, develop, and manage integrations using the Boomi platform. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of integration strategies, cloud technologies, and API-based architectures. This role is critical in supporting our clients' digital transformation initiatives and ensuring seamless connectivity between cloud and on-premise applications.
- Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to define integration requirements.
- Design and develop Boomi processes for data integration between SaaS, cloud, and on-premise applications.
- Create API specifications and implement API designs.
- Implement integration solutions using Boomi connectors, transformations, and business rules.
- Ensure integration, security and compliance with enterprise architecture standards.
- Performing unit testing and debugging to ensure the reliability of integrations.
- Participate in and/or lead code reviews and ensure best practices are followed.
Required Qualifications
- Required certifications for Mid and Sr levels: Boomi Platform Certified Developer or Certified Boomi Platform Integration Architect
- Hands-on developer experience building integrations and APIs with the Boomi Platform
- Experience designing API specs using RAML, Swagger, OpenAPI or other API modeling language
- Experience building integrations that connect with one or more on premise/SaaS packaged COTS (Commercial Off-the-Shelf) solutions for ERP, CRM, e-Commerce, or mobile (e.g. Salesforce, NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, Workday, etc.)
- Experience developing, profiling, and troubleshooting Java application code and automated testing tools
- Experience in completing technical design documentation and technical reference materials for client/internal consumption
- Experience with load testing tools such as JMeter
- Working knowledge of on-premise infrastructure and cloud-based deployments and configurations along with monitoring and management
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and XML
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree
