Eligibility

Responsibilities:
To design, build, and troubleshoot custom logic for payroll, benefits, and time tracking that cannot be handled by standard out-of-the-box configuration.
- Formula Development: Write, test, and deploy Fast Formulas for various modules, including:
- Payroll: Gross-to-net calculations, tax logic, and earnings/deductions.
- Absence Management: Accrual plans, entitlement definitions, and validation rules.
- Benefits: Eligibility profiles, coverage calculations, and rate definitions.
- Compensation: Salary changes, bonus allocations, and performance-based awards.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Debug "Formula Execution" errors and optimize long-running formulas to prevent performance bottlenecks during payroll cycles.
- Requirements Translation: Partner with HR Business Analysts to turn complex policy documents into executable code.
- System Integration: Use Transformation Formulas to format data for HCM Data Loader (HDL) or HCM Extracts.
- Governance: Maintain documentation for all custom logic to ensure the system remains "upgradable" during Oracle’s quarterly releases.
Qualifications:
- Technical Proficiency:
- Advanced knowledge of Oracle Fast Formula syntax (Variables, Database Items (DBIs), Functions, and Statements).
- Strong SQL skills for data validation and identifying the correct DBIs.
- Familiarity with Oracle BI Publisher and HCM Extracts.
- Functional Knowledge:
- Deep understanding of Payroll processes (retroactive pay, proration, and element entries).
- Knowledge of legislative requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud (Fusion) HCM.
